Course setting
Course setting is a mode which is used when you are hanging out flags for an event. You can take the controls in random order. When you approach the control you will get an alert and a display showing control code, distance to the control and how many you have left. When you press up-button you will get the distance to the next control.
With this mode it is smart to download "All controls" to your watch.
The slideshow below shows an example of a Course setting.
Choose Course setting under Modes in the main menu. You must select the mode before you start the exercise.
Press Start button to start warming up. You can select mode under warm up before start.
When you approach start you will get an alert. Press the start button and select Start course from the Start menu.
The watch shows the closest code (91)
When you run the closest code will change (55)
When you approach the control you will get a display showing distance to the control, how many controls you have left.
Press up-button to show next control.
When you approach next control (41) it displays distance so you can tune in position. If you forget to press up-button the window close when you are 35 m from the control.
The controls you have visit are no longer active in the Course setting mode.
The race continues until you have hit all controls in arbitrary order.
You can skip a control or go back to a control from the Main menu.
