Georeferencing courses

A new tool for georeferencing courses has been added to o-range. When you upload an xml-file whitout gps-coordinates you will be asked to georeference it.

Your screen will be divided in two with your controls to the left and a google map window to the left. Pick the start triangle and 2 or more controls and select the corresponding positions in the google map window. O-range will the automatic place all your controls in the google map. You can adjust the positions of the controls, and when you are happy with it save the event and upload the courses to your watch. This tool is helpful if you only have images of your maps or maps which are not georeferenced. The xml-file must be in IOF- ver3 format. Another new feature is the possibility to show your event in google map. Select “google map“ in the “meatball menu” to see the courses. You can also adjust the positions of your controls with this feature.

This tool is a beta version and not fully tested. A few updates on the web page were needed to include this new features, please send an This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you get trouble using o-range after this update.
