The displays
O-range has several displays. This section explains them more in detail.
Intro

When you start O-range the Intro display shows up. O-range will start to search for an GPS connection, and pulse signals. The intro display tells you when you are ready and you can press the upper right button to start a new exercise.
You can start the exercise without GPS connection. However the distance to start is not shown before you have GPS connection.

Main
|
|
After you have started the exercise, the Main display shows up with the following informations.Distance to start exercise time and your pace.
After approaching start it shows distance to next control, next code, course time and leg time.

Timer
|
|
Timer display shows exercise time, total distance including distance to start and your pace in min/km. |
Leg Time
|
|
Leg time display shows leg time, leg distance and leg pace. Leg pace is given in min/km. |
Course Time
|
|
Course time display shows course time, course distance and course pace. |
Time
|
|
Time page display shows the current time and date. In addition it shows the next control number and code. The symbol indicates whether you are running to start, first control, another control or to the finish |
Compass
|
|
Compass display shows a typical orienteering compass. You can read the next control code and number. The icon shows what kind of control you are approaching. |
Next Control
|
|
Next Control display shows the next control number, distance to the next control and the next code. This page is not active after you have approached the finish. |
